3.1 Set Preferences and Start Recording

  1. After login, click the Web Explorer icon from the browser toolbar to display Start Session Dialog.

  2. Enter the information for the Test Session.

    The Dialog Header displays qTest account of current user.

    The Projects combobox shows all Projects which are available to the current user.

    Select New Session option to create New Session in Selected Project.

    Select Planned Session option to display all Planned Session of Selected Project at Title Field.

    Set preferred Domain option to be captured. You can select All to capture all detected domains or restrict Explorer to specific domain using Include/Exclude options

  3. Click Start Session to start the recording session.

  4. After a Session is started, the original Web Explorer icon shall change to a flashing Recording icon to notify the user about being in recording mode
