Manage Dependency Rules

The Manage Dependency Rules form allows you to define dependency relationships between two fields that map to such a relationship as defined in HP Quality Center.

  1. Click the Add Rule button. A new rule is added.

  2. Select primary and secondary fields to define dependency rule.

  3. For each value of the primary field, select a corresponding list value of the secondary field. When you select a specific value of the primary field in the qTest Explorer submission form, the corresponding list value of the secondary field will display.

    Dependency rules defined in qTest Explorer must match those in HP Quality Center.

  4. Click Save to save the settings for subsequent use.
